The ECA was founded as a non-profit association with the aim of enriching the English-language cultural scene in Würzburg. Through our work, we want to help make cultural offerings more accessible — whether for native English speakers or non-native speakers.

ENGLISH BOOK CLUB
Unser English Book Club trifft sich alle 1-2 Monate in verschiedenen Cafes und Bars Würzburgs, um gemeinsam englischsprachige Bücher zu diskutieren. Schreibe uns gerne an [email protected], um der WhatsApp-Gruppe beizutreten.
ECA REGULARS TABLE
We meet every fortnight on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Hanna Huckebein bar to chat over a beer or homemade lemonade. Feel free to drop by, we look forward to seeing you!
CHARITY-EVENTS
- Every December: Christmas pub quiz at Theater am Neunerplatz (donation recipient: Würzburg warming center)
- Every May: Hot dog sale at the Würzburg International Spring Festival (donation recipient: Kulturtafel Würzburg)
OPEN-MIC-PUBQUIZ
Open mic meets pub quiz – at Bar Hanna Huckebein. You'll play five rounds of quiz in teams of five and enjoy musical, literary, and other artistic performances during the breaks between rounds.
The event takes place four times a year: We look forward to seeing you there – whether in the quiz or at the mic!

THERE IS MUCH MORE!
Many of our activities take place on an irregular basis. In recent years, these have included the following events:
- Horror Cinema Night (on Halloween)
- Theater trips to Frankfurt to the English Theatre
- Improv theater workshops
- Theater workshops (behind the scenes and on stage)
- Game nights (e.g., Blood on the Clocktower)
